Some wider reading. Investors Homework

In a break from the tutorials, as I am trying to put a lot of material into an order which suits the development of the series, I felt that it was a good time to introduce a list of wider reading sources from the internet to help with the assimilation of all of the theory. One of the most important aspects of learning to Invest is to strike a balance between theory and practice, and the only way to do that is to develop a personal understanding of how the markets work. The market is an organic beast, whilst we as analysts have tried to develop ways to model it, and over a long period of time we can do this with some degree of accuracy, it continues to defy any attempt of short term analysis. The only way to be successful in this field is to develop an intuitive ability to read between the lines of the balance sheets and P&L accounts. To help develop this skill it is important to continually read opinions and reviews of what has happened in the markets. The following list is a good start to what has happened in the markets since the start of the millennium.
